This 300-year tradition presents the entire company (154 Paris Opera Ballet dancers, and 100 or so pupils from the Ballet School) under full stage conditions and is an amazing spectacle. -For Etudes, a dance class is transposed to the stage in a ballet that showcases the purity, rigour and exactness of classical technique. -The Nutcracker is Tchaikovsky’s journey to a dreamlike world of whirling snowflakes, myriad flowers and dancing sugar plum fairies, and one of his most fabulous masterpieces.
